![]() There are also many stories of ppl being given a price for their trade in agreement, turning in the phone, but then it not get accepted and they don't return phones. It could be the account entered was simply off by 1 digit but Tmo refuses to admit the error. Given their qualifications I wouldn't be surprised if an employee picked up a diff box and input it onto your acct by accident. ![]() Only 1 support thought to look it up to found there were other complaints from other users using all other phones too. They had never heard of it before, even tech support which is odd cause it's needed to stream in hd as all stream services use it now. I literally had to give them a lesson in drm certificates to understand what was wrong with my phone, specifically widevine. Both in store, chat and phone, all their support I've talked to seem to know very little about the tech they sell. All they will have left are apple and Samsung devices which many have stopped buying already due to their growing greed removing common used components like SD slots, aux, earbuds, and charge cords, saving money whilst charging more. Tmo has a very limited phone selection and now that LG is done making phones there's no point staying on their overpriced plans.1plus phones are cheaper elsewhere. The worst part is the price they are trying to charge me of $900 for LG V60 is $500 more than what it costs now anywhere else. Im almost def going to a diff service and from now on will buy unlocked phones so I'm not tied to a carrier. I had mint mobile before them and the service was better even tho they piggyback tmo network and at 25 bucks a mo compared to 75 with tmo. I'm now being charged for 2 phones as the only way to get this problem fixed will be to keep the extra phone as my main device and send my phone to the LG manufacturer directly to get them to reflash the firmware as any replacement TMobile sends will be used, so with the same issue as it was caused by the tmo updates. They also sent me a phone with the same problem and no return label. I was refunded the charge since the site called support and couldn't get it to work either but later recharged me. ![]() If a high traffic metro store can't do it, I doubt rural ones can. ![]() They also charge a shipping fee if you get phone sent to your home because they can send it for free to a store, but obvi that's not true. It may have been because they aren't supposed to charge a warranty fee legally when the problem falls under manufacturer defect in warranty but it didn't work nonetheless and they had to send back the replacement 3x before sending to my house. The system would not let them check out the replacement all 3x when they tried to charge me the warranty fee of $25, both cash and credit. You can't get a replacement in store, I tried and failed 3x. The exact reason I tried to get a replacement in store is this, but that option is a lie. It seems like this is intentional to charge their customers more, specifically the most vulnerable who fall into their scam like elderly and the poor or who can't get to a ups store so they use a drop box instead. Tmobile knows these packages get lost and stolen but don't tell people to bring package to the store for proof receipt. Next time, record video and write down all serial numbers of any electronic device being returned as proof and get a ups receipt. And contact your bank to report the fraud to them as well. You can also contact tMo support chat and tell them you are filing a formal complaint with the BBB because you have been defrauded by them. Companies are quick to refund when you file a complaint. Also, immediately go online to the BBB website and file a complaint against TMobile for the amount as fraud. If it is, tmobile is at fault and more than likely input the wrong number or mixed up package, worker error. My advice, contact USPS customer service to see if the tracking number your package had is the same as what tmobile received. I was told by the tmobile store to bring the phone box directly to the ups store and get a receipt for proof because they lose the packages alot.
